PERMACIDE P-1 is a clear, stable, ready-to-use, water-base emulsion containing the active ingredient, Permethrin. Permethrin is a pyrethroid ingredient with residual activity.


To control bedbugs: Spray mattresses lightly, particularly around tufts and seams. Take beds apart and spray in all joints. Treat baseboards, moldings and floors.


Allow mattresses and other articles to dry thoroughly before use.

It’s important to treat bed bugs as soon as you discover you have them, because otherwise they can make you miserable.

Bed bugs are tiny, flat oval insects. They may be white or light tan, or may be a darker brown. An adult bed bug is about a quarter of an inch long. They can usually be found in crevices of mattresses, bed frames, and other furniture. Use a flashlight when you inspect your furniture, and look carefully. They are easy to miss.

Bed bugs are a brownish colored, wingless insect that can survive up to a year without feeding. This insect is very good at hiding so in most cases evidence of this pest is discovered rather than the actual bug itself. Rusty spots on sheets and mattresses caused by a crushed bug or a bug's fecal matter may be the first indication of bug infestation. Once you have discovered an infestation has occurred, persistence is needed to rid your bed from this pesky bug.

Most people don’t realize they have bed bugs until they begin to experience bites. Bed bug bites resemble mosquito bites but usually occur during the night. If you wake with unexplained insect bites, it’s worth your time to do an inspection for bed bugs.

Inspect carpeting, light fixtures, behind outlet covers, walls, wood moldings, picture frames, and closets etc.. These are excellent hiding spots for a bed bug.

Dismantle the bed and stand components and look for bugs are there calling card. (Fecal matter) Note that infestation of a mattress is very difficult to treat. Unfortunately, the mattress may need to be discarded.

Empty the night stand and dressers. Carefully exam under the woodwork, especially in corners or cracks.

Items that are removable should be washed in very hot water or discarded.

Vacuum the house to remove any eggs or bugs from the furniture, carpet, and walls. Make sure you pay close attention to cracks, seams, and corners. . Once done, throw away all containers, or empty the container outside.
