How It Works

The IGR in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts pests' normal development. (S)-Hydroprene, the active ingredient, prevents pest larvae from progressing to the adult stage either causing sterility of adults or preventing the emergence of insects from the pupal stage — preventing future infestations.

As a general surface spray or spot treatment, Gentrol Aerosol is applied to pest harborages providing control for up to four months. Its visible, dissipating foam virtually eliminates the chance of missing any areas. You'll receive the same superior coverage for crack-and-crevice applications, with Gentrol Aerosol's extension tube, designed for simple, accurate application in hard-to-reach areas.

The IGR disrupts the normal
development of immature cockroaches, drain flies, fruitflies, bedbugs, and stored product pests (examples ofthese pests include: Indian meal moths, rice moths,
tobacco moths, red flour beetles, confused flourbeetles, lesser grain borers, merchant grain beetles,sawtooth grain beetles, warehouse beetles, cigarette beetles, and Dermestid beetles).

Roaches and bedbugsexposed to GENTROL® AEROSOL will become adultsincapable of reproducing.

GENTROL® AEROSOL alsodisrupts the normal life cycle of drain flies, fruit flies,and stored product pests; thus, killing these insectsduring the pupal stage.

Shake well before use. GENTROL® AEROSOL is aready-to-use pressurized spray for application to avariety of locations and surfaces to control pests.Apply GENTROL® AEROSOL as a general surface
spray, spot, or crack and crevice application. Use thesupplied extension tube for crack and creviceapplications. To apply as a general surface or spotapplication, hold can 10" to 12" away from surface
to be treated. Use a sweeping motion over the surfaceto be treated for complete coverage. This productapplies as a light foam that dissipates readily. An oilyresidue may be apparent in heavy applications. The
visibility of the dissipating foam eliminates thepossibility of missed areas. For crack and creviceapplications, use the supplied extension tube andapply to wall voids, hollow table legs, tube iron,gondola frames, voids, and supports.

GENERAL SURFACE APPLICATIONApply the GENTROL® AEROSOL at a rate of 16 ouncesper 1200 sq ft of surface area. Apply to areas suchas: walls, floors, ceilings, attics, basements, gondolas,and shelving.

To treat bedbugs, apply to harborage pointsmentioned above; in addition, under beds, bottomside of box springs (do not treat linens and mattresses), under and behind night stands, to pointswhere carpet and wall meet, cracks in cove base,
molding, and other areas where bedbugs harborage.Retreat at 14 days for heavy infestations.
