Dear Dr. Oldag,

Two weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night to find a bed bug in my bed. I felt disgusted and sick, as I experienced the problem once before during the summer of 2009. At that time, I hired a local pest control company to treat my one-bedroom apartment. Not only they charge a high amount, but they also failed to properly treat the area. So here I was, faced with bed bugs once again. I did not want to hire a pest control company again and was determined to find a treatment that I could apply on my own.

I began my online search by visiting Clark Howard's website. Someone had posted a comment on his website about Best Yet. As I read review upon review of several products, I must say that I was hopeful yet a bit skeptical. Then I realized that I simply needed to give your product a try.

I ordered the Best Yet kit along with an additional gallon of Best Yet. When it arrived, I thoroughly sprayed my apartment (each crack, crevice and inch of carpet). I waited two days to reassemble my bed and put everything back in order. It has been one week now since I have been sleeping in my bed again...bite free!! It is wonderful to be able to get a full night sleep. I have found a few dead bugs (not bed bugs) since I sprayed with Best Yet. I was amazed to watch it kill two wasps upon contact while I was spraying my utility closet outside. So far, I am please with Best Yet and pray that I will be bed bug free.

Recently bought an empty and foreclosed house. Buyer Beware! It was infested with bedbugs. After searching for a solution and deciding that spending another $3,ooo for a pest control company wasn't in the budget I found Best Yet. Am very happy with the results. Needless to say, not only are the bedbugs gone, but the place smells terrific.
The people were helpful in helping me decide how much I would need, it arrived quickly, and yes, they informed me that I may need to do it again in 3- 6 mos. to make sure I've got any and all stragglers. Still not going to cost me $3,000. The pest control company told me they'd have to come back one more time also. So figure $6,000.
I own 2 old cats (15+yrs.), and so was concerned about what I would use. They stayed in the enclosed yard for the day because of the strong smell, but were also lightly sprayed (using the pump mister). They remain the same affectionate and sleepy cats they have been. In spite of some negative comments regarding the use of this on animals I felt better using this than the commercial drops. I guess just like people though there are those who are sensitive when 98% are not. Just be careful. Do little at a time and watch for a reaction.

TREATMENT USING A ULV N0N THERMAL FOGGER MACHINE

Fill the fogger reservoir with the ready to use BEST YET solution. It is suggested that a adjustable VMD (volumetric mean diameter) Tri-Jet Fogger be used to facilitate both dry and wet fog applications. This adjustment will enable the operator to adjust the size of fog droplet being discharged from the fogging machine. Prior to fogging it is suggested that the seams and tucks of the mattress and any other cloth material be rolled back and treated with a mist or spray. The mattress should be removed from the bed so that both sides and total coverage of the surface can be treated. Using a dry to medium wet fog discharge, treat directly on the mattress, box spring and headboard. Repeat the same application to all cloth covered furniture insuring that at minimum, a slight dampness of solution is detectable. Working backward from the far end of the room, and aiming the fogger at the floor areas, disperse a wet fog over all Carpet, wood flooring and tile areas. Be sure to direct the fog under furniture and into corners and at least twenty four inches up from the floor area of any drapes in the room. Disperse a fog directly into any cupboards, drawers or closets. The amount of approximately 1 gallon of solution per one thousand square foot of surface area is suggested to insure a 100% elimination and prevention of immediate re-infestation of insects. For control of mites it is necessary to fog all drapes, curtains and closet clothing. Be sure adequate amounts of BEST YET are discharged into the air of each room. Remove the furnace filter from the cold air return and with the air handler circulating air throughout the structure discharge into the return air cavity. This will circulate the fog throughout the structure killing all bacteriaDispense BEST YET into the cold air return vent for mite, mold and bacteria control! and dust mites in the duct work leading to all areas of the home. Before leaving the room start the air conditioner unit or air circulator and allow it to circulate the air in the room. This will eliminate any dust mites in the AC system. Replacing the filter is recommended. It is suggested that each room be closed and the fog allowed to settle for approximately 2 hours before occupation. Any overwhelming aromas will dissipate in a matter of 6 hours. The structure can be aired out if desired but it is suggested it be kept closed for at least two hours after treatment to enable a pheromone interruption event to impair and destroy the insects mental capacities and triggering their subsequent death
